Adolescent Substance Abuse Program - IOP

The Adolescent Substance Abuse Program (commonly known as "ASAP") has proudly proven itself Arizona's finest outpatient counseling program for young people ages 12-18 involved with drugs and alcohol since 1991. ASAP is a 10-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed specifically for the treatment of substance use disorders in youth ages 12-18. • Contact: - 6602.434.0249 • Location: - 2530 S. Shea Blvd., Phoenix/Scottsdale - 8607 N. 59th Ave., Glendale • Ages Accepted: - 12-18 years old • Services Provided: - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - Group Therapy • Insurances Accepted: - Aetna - Cigna - Blue Cross Blue Shield - United Healthcare • Treatment Specializations: - Substance Abuse - Depression - General Mental Health • Duration of Treatment: - The ASAP IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) is 10 weeks in duration (30 group therapy sessions to be more precise). Adolescents ages 12-18 attend group therapy three evening sessions per week. Parents are required to attend one of these sessions each week with their teen in Multifamily therapy, where parents receive help and education and counseling as well. Random and for-cause urinalysis is conducted to assess for possible substance use and to monitor treatment compliance. Parents are also taught how to use urinalysis effectively at home, for accountability and as an effective deterrent.
